Carolinas Physician Alliance Announces Chief Executive Officer

Carolinas Physician Alliance (CPA) is pleased to announce that Jennifer H. Brady, MD is joining CPA as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Brady’s areas of responsibility will include working closely with the CPA Board of Managers and participating providers to promote the use of consistent standards for care delivery, quality tracking and reporting, information sharing and physician collaboration.

Dr. Brady comes to CPA with significant experience leading complex healthcare organizations and a track record of excellent performance. Most recently she served as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Health First Health Plans, the managed care arm of Health First Integrated Delivery Network, a health system comprised of four hospitals, a 370 physician employed multi-specialty medical group, home health, hospice, affiliate centers and community partners based in Brevard County, Florida. During her tenure with Health First Health Plans, Dr. Brady played an active role in Health First’s journey to achieve full integration as a delivery network.

As CMO, She was responsible for leading the health plan’s clinical strategy and transitioning the delivery network to a value-based care model. “I’m passionate about the delivery of healthcare,” Dr. Brady said. “It’s a privilege to collaborate with CPA physicians to ensure the community receives the highest quality, value and patient-centered care. I’m looking forward to contributing to these efforts, in order to provide more-efficient care that can be replicated and spread across the system.” She is excited to bring her ability to see these changes through the eyes of the physicians and anticipate the impact of these changes across an organization to CPA.

Brady was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree at Ohio University and completed her medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s –Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing her residency, Dr. Brady spent 10 years practicing internal medicine and providing direct patient care across the inpatient and outpatient setting. Dr. Brady is married to Edward, a retired air traffic controller and together they are the proud parents to their 9-year old son, Kyle.
